I have cooked a lot of roasts in my day but never one flavored with Italian sauce/spices. I have also cooked a lot of Cajun dishes and hate all the chopping required! However, since this is a tried and true recipe from you, I just might decide to give it a shot. Maybe next weekend when my young ‘un comes home from sunny Florida for a visit. Tomorrow it is supposed to be about 40 degrees here then rain, sleet and snow for the weekend and temperatures in the single digits. I guess winter really isn’t over yet. ๐

I know – I’m not happy about the sleet or snow either. I am sick of the cold weather and want spring to hurry and show up. I don’t do the chopping too often – Mr. Picky eater prefers to do it because he’s the one who loves to make everything so uniform.

Great round up, Kelli! We are going to a Mardi Gras party tonight and I am in charge of pecan pie, so I’ve made a great big one in my rectangular baking pan. I’d done it several times before but today I finally took the time to take photos and write down the measurements so maybe I’ll finally get around to posting my first Mardi Gras party recipe someday. Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!

Great roundup! We’ve never been big on Mardi Gras here, but you have me kicking myself for not planning a cajun inspired meal for Tuesday!

There’s always next year and you could always serve fish every Friday from now until Easter! ๐
