I’m so proud of our redesign today. But first, I want to introduce you to new friend of mine. Her name is Retro Wifey and she’s on
Face Book here

Pinterest here

Twitter here
And, she blogs here!
This lovely retro-woman, who is a wife and mother of three living in Maryland, received an email from me, a total stranger (but avid Face Book, pintrest, blog, and twitter follower), asking if she would post about my Nano-Canning eBook giveaway last week and she did it! How incredible of her. Do you know she helped me give away 800 eBooks?!?!
She is just the sweetest woman and I love following her on all these media outlets – and so will you! She has a joy about her that is contagious. I always feel better after reading one of her funny posts. I know you will too! Please visit all these sites and add them to your “regulars”, she is so worth it! When you do, please tell her I sent you – I owe her!

Now, on to our repurpose: As I have told you before Son Smarty-Pants will be graduating from Law School if a few short weeks and has had a job for the last few month with a municipal bond firm. He also sits on the 4-H Foundation of Oklahoma. When he was a Senior in High School he was the state president. He’s been involved with 4-H since he was a kid. He GOT involved because his dad told him all the cute girls were in 4-H, he stayed involved because he was able to acquire so many life skills. It made him a great orator which in turn helped him graduate with membership in The Order of Barristers. As a foundation member, it is important for him to contribute to fundraisers each year and this year he asked us to help. The following is what we came up with:

Repurpose Milk Can

Milk Can Before

Repurpose Milk Can - 4H

After: 4H Milk Can

Doesn’t that just Rock?!?!

Also thank you for introducing Retro Wifey – her blog is on my visit list for sure!

Thus is awesome! I am looking to do this project, but can’t find any tutorials! Can you provide a step by step on how you did this? Or at least how you put the tractor seat on the milk can?

    Thanks!

Hi Katelyn, thanks for dropping by! Yes, I can share how you get the tractor seat on the lid! You drill a hole in the lid and handle of lid if it has one. Then you get a REALLY long and big bolt and nut. Stick the bolt in and screw the nut tight – put the lid/seat onto the milk can. Some people weld them onto the can but I can’t weld – I CAN drill though!
