I know many of you have seen this picture of me and my beloved cousin Jimmie at my parent’s wedding. I wrote a post about my Nana and I making sugar cookies and mailing them to Jimmie and his friends when they were stationed abroad in the Air Force. I remember he was at Patrick AFB in Cocoa Beach FL when I was a girl and he always said, ” Just like Capt. Anthony Nelson from I Dream of Jeannie”. He taught me to dance so I wouldn’t be embarrassed at my first Jr. High dance and he grew up with my mom because they were just a few years apart in age.
He passed away unexpectedly this morning and I cannot tell you how sad I am. I spent from noon until 8 PM this evening driving all across the state to tell elderly family members in person, including my mother who is beside herself with grief.
Tomorrow we will all head about 5 1/2 hours away to the funeral.
I had several more posts planned for this week but they will wait. I will be back posting in a week. I know you all understand.

Oh my gosh, I’m just so, so sorry. I can’t imagine how sad you feel and how devastating it must feel to have to share this news with your loved ones. Love to you and your family and godspeed to your cousin Jimmie. I bet he’s teaching the angels to dance on the other side.

Oh Kelli, I am so very sorry for your loss. Bless your heart for taking time to let your fans know what you’re doing. Sure don’t like these stark reminders of the brevity of life, but know I am praying for you and your family now as you celebrate a special man in your lives. Prayers for safe travels too.
