Best Food Site Around!
To all my friends who follow my pins on the RecipeNewZ Pinterest board. The administrator has shut her site down.
I tried to contact her to no avail. I can never repay the good things she did for my blog and I only want the best for her but I think she needs time away so I will leave her alone. If you are reading this, thank you so much Elana.

Great! That was the day Krylon featured those coffee can canisters. I sold them to a teacher who was thrilled to find them (she had seen them on FB) for only $10 for the set. She thought they would be at least $50~! Hahaha!
Lucky woman to buy them for $10. In most places they would have been $50.

Gosh really Lillian? It was coffee containers we already bought with the coffee and a little paint. I think he said it took him 10 minutes for 2 coats. $50 would have priced most people out – including me! 🙂 Thanks!
Wow, Kelli, I just went over to recipenewz to post today and saw that it was closed. It’s like the end of an era :/ Now I am definitely going to have to join that other board. Thanks for the tip and I’ll see you over there.
That’s really too bad about RecipeNewZ. Because of your previous mentions, I had started utilizing them both to share my recipes, as well as to find tasty new things to try. I will need to check you out on {yum}google.

Yesterday was the first time in a long time I had gone to RecipeNewz and was shocked to see that they were closed. No mention why that I could find on their Facebook page either. I think I’ve posted (or tried to) on YumGoggle before. I’ll have to see if I can remember my login stuff. Thanks for reminding me of that site. Another one you can try is FoodiePortal. It’s still sorta new, so you won’t get a ton of hits from them, but I get a steady daily stream.
I just checked. I got 54 hits from FoodiePortal yesterday.

Well, I tried registering at YumGoggle a while back, and again today, but it never sends the email to confirm my registration. That would help if she wants folks to register and add content. 🙁
