A Big Announcement !

A Big Announcement

This was taken 2 years ago when Rocket had no hair at all and was always excited! He has hair now and he’s still always excited.

I bet y’all have been wondering where I have been – well, I have been very busy and I have even made several recipes that I will be sharing with you later but first, I have some big news to tell that will explain why I have been absent and how long until I (hopefully) will post my next scrumptious recipe!

Top Girl and I are very excited to announce that we have purchased Yum Goggle website. YG is a lot like Pinterest but exclusively for food. The site currently has around 30,000 pictures of gorgeous food with links to the original recipes. You can share on Face Book and several other social media platforms, Pin to Pinterest, Tweet, and save to your favorites. You can search by category or just check out the newest approved submissions from bloggers you know and new ones you will want to follow!

Like me, Top Girl has her own blog called Writing, Reading and Eating as well as a Face Book Page and Pinterest boards. Of course you can see all I have over on the right side of this post. Yum Goggle is also on Face Book, Twitter, and Pinterest. We would appreciate follows on whatever you would like.

As with most things, there is a learning curve and if I am being honest, since we bought it last week, anything that could have gone wrong…………HAS gone wrong! Sometimes it feels like there’s some joke that we aren’t privy to being played on us – just kidding – but seriously, many things have gone wrong. Right now, photos cannot be uploaded to the site because even though we have upgraded three times in the last 4 days, they still cannot accommodate my blog and the website together and so, we have struck another deal with a new private web hosting company to move both over to their hosting on Monday afternoon. If all goes well, both will be back up and running by Tuesday morning but given the last week, I’m not holding my breath! I will cross my fingers and invite all my blogger friends to submit any and all of their recipes to Yum Goggle’s website starting Wednesday February 11, 2015. I want all my readers who are not bloggers to please come visit us real soon – I will be mentioning it often in the future of course!

I wanted to get this message out to everyone before something happened and I could not communicate with you at all until after it is done. I will be here Wednesday morning with my monthly Food Blogger C.L.U.E. Society post and on Friday I’ll be here with a great giveaway! At least I hope I will!

Thank you for your continued support and wish us luck on the move. Kelli

Take a deep breath, Kelli. Websites are an inherent pain in the tush. YumGoggle is one of my A-list food sites on the web and I can’t wait to see it soar under your ownership.

Belated but hearty congratulations!! How is it going so far? Would it be cool with you if I linked to you and reblogged you from the Vampire Diet Blog? Thanks and Congrats again!

Thanks so much Ronda! I would love to talk to you about it – as soon as we are finished completely redesigning and refurbishing it ——-we are doing it as we speak and SO many things are changing to be better that I would rather wait – but when it’s done, like in a week or so, I would LOVE to do that!! Thank you for asking!
