This blog stuff is really hard work! I also forget about doing it sometimes. I want to talk about many things to you and then I totally forget………I guess that comes with age, doesn’t it? I made some wonderful apricot butter this weekend. Doesn’t it look lovely? The most important thing I can tell you about making any kind of “butter” be it apple, cherry, apricot or anything else it is always better to make it on the stove instead of in the slow cooker. I know the slow cooker is easier and cooler in the heat of the summer, but the temp just doesn’t get high enough to properly make the “butter”. The heat must be high enough to draw out as much water as possible. I’m really going to try to be better at my blog and my daughter will prod me, I’m sure! Happy 4th of July!!
