Strawberry Jam and 7 UP Biscuits

7 UP Biscuits


  • Bisquick – 2 cups I used Jiffy and I had to use about 2/3 cup more
  • ½ Cup Sour Cream
  • ½ Cup 7 UP
  • ¼ Cup butter for melting in bottom of pan


  1. Turn oven on to 450 F.
  2. Cut the sour cream into the biscuit mix.
  3. Add 7 UP and mix lightly.
  4. Put the butter into the pan and put it in the oven to let it melt – I used an iron skillet.
  5. Sprinkle some biscuit mix on the table and pat the dough out – don’t roll it.
  6. Using a biscuit cutter or glass, cut the biscuits out.
  7. ***Tip: DO NOT twist the cutter – just lift it straight out. If you twist, it will make the dough tough.***
  8. Place biscuits in skillet and place in oven for 15 – 25 minutes or until golden brown.
