Pizza Sauce
Ingredients

tablespoons
unsalted butter

cup
onion
grated
1/4
teaspoon
dried oregano
1/2
teaspoon
kosher salt

garlic cloves
minced

28 ounce can crushed tomatoes (this time I used fresh tomatoes and it was great!)
1/4
teaspoon
sugar

tablespoons
fresh basil
chopped

tablespoon
olive oil
Instructions
Put all ingredients in a large pot. Cook it until it reduces at least by half.
You can leave it chunky, or smooth it out like I do with either a traditional blender or an immersion blender.
Recipe Notes
I only use about half of it because we like light sauce and I freeze the rest for another night.
