Merry & Bright! Kelli's Kitchen Christmas Card

Our Christmas Card to you!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of our readers! We appreciate each and every one of you.

For the next couple of weeks we will be taking a break from the blog and much of social media. Will we be talking a long winter’s nap?

Nope! Our family is making big changes in 2018! We will be moving into our new digs!

We wish you and your family a very happy new year!

Meanwhile, every Sunday night on my Face Book I am posting a giveaway that runs till Midnight CST on Thursday.  I choose cute tote bags from Cracker Barrel, Joann’s, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and wherever else I find reusable bags.  All you have to do is “Like” and comment on that post to be in the running!  One a week until you get tired of them or I run out!

Here are some of our favorite Christmas memories – old and new!

Merry & Bright! Kelli's Kitchen Christmas CardA photo of me (left), Mr. Bowen and My cousin Dana at my Aunt and Uncle’s Christmas Eve for Strays.

There were generally 50-100 people there – singles or couples who had no other family.  They made food and bought gifts for each person.  They had no children and were only children themselves.  She was my mom’s best friend.  There will be more photos of those parties in this post.

That’s me with my mom and dad behind me – you can’t see me because the ham is larger than my head!  The rest of the folks were artist, writers, lip stick counter ladies, a librarian, hair stylist and my uncle who worked for the railroad.
